Lomi Lomi
Fore arm Dance Massage
There is massage and then there is MMMMMMASSAGE.
There is furry coming from the west about this Hawaiian massage, LOMI LOMI, and they know the power of this slow and progressive energy raising movements because they have experienced it. Once you experience then you know what it means to be truly relaxed. It is very popular in BC and California and it is coming here for your enjoyment.
This is a lomi style forearm dance massage developed to it's fullness from Jovanna and
- a very different experience from what is considered a regular massage
- the movements are large, expansive and long from head to feet
- captures the idea of waves with it's energy raising activities from the giver.
- wrapping of arms and also circular movements
This modality will help clear energies and the mind so powerfully, that usually there is a trance like feeling or floating sensation. For some and many people it is a new experience of very deep relaxation and joy.
It incorporates the prayerful mind allowing for personal transformation (combined with acupressure as an option). However this is not the authentic Hawaian massage from Hawaii which requires local training and which is also hard to find. In detail, this is usually a 2 hour slow building experience including Lomi and fore arm dance.
Every family or "ohana" in Hawaii had it's unique form for lomi.
Lomi Lomi means to shift. On the island it was used to describe a salmon salad with red onions. Spiritually, vibrational energy-touch therapy. It is different from other modalities, it comes with no expectation and no analysis just being empowered by the now. The long and flowing fore arm movements will help you come back to you, expand the mind and lighten the body.
I often incorporate Lomi Lomi techniques with acupressure, since it incorporates detailed and large movements to decontract the muscles, expand mind, lighten you while leveraging wellness energy points on meridians ( known for 5000 years and used before acupuncture)...The best of both worlds!
I have coined the term " lomi style" to allude to lomi lomi , it is a truly nice way to decompress muscles without pain (unless you have conditions) focused on using large and flowing forearms movements.
"this is much better then using hands" Frank

Many of my customers have experienced new levels of awareness and tell me that it is probably the best massage to lift to another level, of which some people call "bliss".
This is my one of my best massage experience for me, it is a joy to give. So I suppose that is part of the secret ingredients to a nice "heavenly" experience for the recipient.
With it's fore arm gliding motions from head to feet, from hips to legs etc, there is no other better touch and expansive way to let go of body tensions. It is an oil based massage covering all the body smoothly at a slow pace within 90 minutes. The pressure is adapted to you and so are the oils. We use organic coconut oils and shea butter, all plant-based.
This is not the traditional Lomi with prayer and dance however we start with an intention that will lead the way and my thoughts are focused on your health.
We offer this Lomi Lomi at a very special price for new customers.
If you have stiffness due to driving or computer work, the cumulative effects of receiving lomi lomi are very effective. You will need to do it on a regular basis to truly benefit from it's medicinal aspects.
We can combine different modalities to synergize the powers of each one. If you have pain relief, Lomi Lomi is a good to relax first and then do more deeper/detailed muscle work or Acu pressure or Acu touch.

Acupressure is a finger pressure
Probably one of the most effective and ancient techniques (older than acupuncture) when you want to hone in and get results with a symptom or condition. This modality is relaxing, therapeutic and very appreciated by the acquired taste rather than just the seeker of the "feel good" massage.
Acupressure is an an ancient healing art that uses the fingers to press key points on the meridians (surface of skin) to stimulate the body's natural self-curative abilities. Pressing them will release muscular tension, pain and promote the circulation of the blood and body's life force (chi) to aid healing.
-
helps to balance the body and relax deeply
-
relieves stress and strengthens resistance to disease and promote wellness
-
alleviates pains and condition such as neck, back, sinusitis, headache, arthritis, indigestion & menstrual cramps
-
releases the stagnant energy and the condition related to the points
-
restores your physical vigour with higher energy, looser muscles, joints and larger range of motions.
A technique resembling acupuncture, but with no needles, but leveraging the same strategic acu-points to relieve pain, symptoms and conditions. No needles and oils are needed for its well tested effectiveness. Focused attention is given to open high energy points along meridians. Very powerful, effective and results-oriented touch to relieve pains and conditions.
Every acu-point has a solution to your issues or symptoms whether physical, emotional or spiritual. Many rejuvenating acu points are on the face and specific areas of the body. If you seek to tone the skin to prevent wrinkles, the facial acu pressure is very effective showing changes within several sessions.
The body weakens by lack of (specific) movements, unhealthy muscular tension, nutritional deficiencies and strong mental and emotional fluctuations (stress).
Massage is not a one time event.
