A few myths on prostate

Many men do not know that they have a problem and many are told that there is only 1 solution (and which is often not holistic).

The size of the prostate is not an indicator of the size of your problem.  To be really in control, you need to be aware, informed and pro active.  This requires a change in mind set contrary to western medicine when the pill is the method of controlling dis ease and numbing yourself. The external prostate health therapy has benefited  98% of the men who decided to do something positive and natural.

This can be your situation now

  • have been told that you can control the dis ease with a pill but you notice little concrete and long lasting solutions. Thus leading you to believe that you are in control but not "cured"
  • want to prevent surgery or laser
  • have been told that external prostate massage is not the right solution (but little do they know).  (If you compare costs and duration, holistic body therapy requires a shorter duration, is more affordable and promotes wellness concretely.)
  • feels like you lost control over your bladder
  • seek an affordable, natural and long lasting solution
  • feel pain in mid torso, discomfort, tension, change in urine flow, increased frequency and urgency of urination, urinary retention, pain in groin/testes
  • prefer not to take drugs or use invasive techniques
  • want to feel better, more masculine and sleep would be good!

Be humble and empowered

Make sure you are not in denial and trust your body's signals.

Is it showing signs of change particularly with urination and pain. It is showing you signs of progress or deterioration?  Do you notice a change in flow of urination? Are you more frequent at night time?  Do you have a sense of urgency during day time? Are you retaining urine and feel like you have to go back and have unfinished business?

These are some ways to self - diagnose and know that you have changed or improved. However when there is not sufficient information or awareness or even the symptoms are not present, then you can run into many complications because you need to have a medical diagnosis.

It is best not to try self- medicate or diagnose yourself based on limited information, since you are not a full time doctor, nurse or holistic practitioner..Others in the healing profession who have been there, can help you  based on experience with other cases. Please humble yourself and be empowered.

What are the symptoms of an enlarged prostate?

It is a common problem for doctors to try to treat but have trouble curing since drugs are the first advice offered and not life style changes. Most men eventually develop an enlarged prostate and the negative consequences depend on whether they live long enough.

Since the prostate surrounds the urinary tract, BPH often leads to urinary problems with the following unpleasant symptoms such as frequent urination and:

  • Sudden need to urinate and leaking
  • A weak stream that hesitates as it flows
  • Needing to urinate frequently- particularly at night
  • A sudden inability to urinate
  • Sometimes there is pain in pelvic area
  • If left untreated, with a severe case for a long time, other problems can develop including incontinence, bladder or kidney damage or stones or urinary tract infections.
